The surroundings

La Font house is located between forests and meadows of ancient crops now used for pastures. Nearby, like the other houses in the valley we will find the mill, now in ruins, where the wheat of the harvest was brought to grind and make the flour for bread all year round.

These farmhouses were almost completely self-sufficient. Walking to the old mill we can find the trail of the old fields.

Rivers, gorges and waterfalls

The gorges of Molí de Sabates, merlès stream, Molins de Vilardell stream, Torrent de la Cabana … They are magical places where water shapes the earth and rocks. Landscapes sometimes hidden and always green and fresh.

Excursion to the Penya del Roquer

From la Font we can see to the east, the Penya del Roquer. Emblematic symbol of Les Llosses. It is a fan-shaped rock ridge. At the top, there are the remains of a fortress, which depended on the Guard Castle. Documented since 1242
